Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Catherine University, focusing on leadership and research, including addressing barriers to research for BIPOC students and connecting first-generation scholars to educational opportunities. Amanda has experience working with adults, children, and teens with mental and physical disabilities. They currently provide bilingual mental health case management for children, helping to connect them to appropriate levels of care and mental health services and connecting their families to community resources. They particularly enjoy working with sibling groups, neurodivergent, ADHD, autistic, and LBGTQIA2+ adolescents and their families. They are committed to serving their community and bridging needs and goals through a client-centered and trauma-informed approach. They are also working on research focused on social determinants of health that are led and informed by BIPOC and Indigenous community members in rural Minnesota.
