Carolina M. Gentry, originally from Colombia, South America, has been working with disadvantaged communities in Minnesota, in different roles, since she arrived in the Twin Cities 17 years ago. She finished a Law degree with an emphasis in Economic Law in Colombia and worked as an Insurance Risk Manager until she moved to Minnesota.
She also earned a Master of Multicultural Social Work from Augsburg University and now holds a LICSW. Her interest includes helping children and families, particularly new immigrants, to process traumatic experiences and support them in their journey to integrate into the new culture.
