Dr. Carla Manzoni, PhD, MA, is an equity-centered strategist and community-based project leader, researcher, and educator with expertise in cross-cultural programming and content development. Carla grew up in Argentina and moved to the US in her early 30's with a background in Government, Education, Philanthropy, and Communication/Media. While in the US, Carla returned to graduate school to better understand her roots and the US Latine community. In her 13 years in Higher Education, Carla developed and taught Hispanic and Latinx college courses at the University of Minnesota, St. Olaf College, and Metropolitan State University, impacting the lives of over 800 students. An active scholar, Carla published 5 peer-reviewed articles, presented at numerous conferences both academic and non-academic, and continues to inform her work in research. From 2021-2024 Carla developed programming to advance Latinx culture, representation, and power across sectors. Carla is an active leader in her community. She currently serves on numerous Boards and Advisory Councils and Committees.
