Historia del Pride y c\u00f3mo lleg\u00f3 a ser:\u200b<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Hacia fines de junio de 1969, las protestas lideradas por personas BIPOC Queer que protestaban contra la brutalidad policial hacia la comunidad LGBTQIA+ iniciaron el momento de la resistencia que ahora se conoce como el movimiento por los derechos de los homosexuales y el Orgullo Gay. La polic\u00eda hab\u00eda estado buscando a los espacios Queer en los a\u00f1os 60 y 70 y despu\u00e9s de que se realizaron arrestos en el Stonewall Inn (Greenwich Village, Nueva York), la comunidad Queer resisti\u00f3 y se rebel\u00f3 contra la brutalidad policial en lo que se conocer\u00eda como los \u201cdisturbios de Stonewall\u201d. \u201d. Los l\u00edderes de estos levantamientos fueron la mujer trans negra Marsha P. Johnson y la mujer trans puertorrique\u00f1a y venezolana Sylvia Rivera. Al a\u00f1o siguiente, 1970, los organizadores Queer y aliados organizaron una marcha que elevar\u00eda el tema del \"Orgullo Gay\", una resistencia contra la verg\u00fcenza, la violencia y el silenciamiento de las personas queer. Esta marcha y demostraci\u00f3n evolucionar\u00eda para presentar las celebraciones del Orgullo y la resistencia continua de la comunidad LGBTQIA+.*<\/p>

El Pride de hoy refleja la resistencia de la comunidad LGBTQIA+ y la celebraci\u00f3n y alegr\u00eda de la identidad queer. En la comunidad Latinx ha habido una larga historia de resistencia en muchos movimientos hist\u00f3ricos, incluido el movimiento de Liberaci\u00f3n Gay.** Las personas queer Latinx tienen experiencias \u00fanicas al experimentar la intersecci\u00f3n de sus identidades raciales, de inmigrantes, sexuales y de g\u00e9nero. Las m\u00faltiples identidades en las que est\u00e1 arraigada nuestra comunidad y que impactan nuestra experiencia vivida est\u00e1n conectadas con el concepto de interseccionalidad. La interseccionalidad es un concepto que trabaja para reconocer las experiencias \u00fanicas de discriminaci\u00f3n y opresi\u00f3n de las diferentes identidades que una persona puede tener.*** Con el Pride de este a\u00f1o nos aferramos al poder de esas identidades y trabajamos para construir una comunidad que proteger\u00e1 y valorar\u00e1 todas esas identidades.<\/p>

En nuestras comunidades locales de MN, hay eventos que invitan a las comunidades a celebrar todas las identidades y brindar apoyo a las personas LGBTQIA+ y sus familias. En el \u00e1rea de Twin Cities, la celebraci\u00f3n Twin Cities Pride se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Loring Park en Minneapolis con actividades para todas las edades y donde los miembros de la comunidad pueden conectarse con organizaciones locales que pueden brindar recursos para las familias. En algunas comunidades rurales, realizan celebraciones de orgullo comunitario, ya sea peque\u00f1os desfiles o eventos (un buen lugar para buscar son los eventos locales en Facebook). Tambi\u00e9n reconocemos que para muchas personas LGBTQIA+ que se identifican con Latinx, puede no sentirse seguro asistir a un evento del orgullo y tambi\u00e9n hay muchas organizaciones virtuales a las que poder conectarse, como\u00a0proyecto Trevor\u00a0<\/a>(Nacional),\u00a0QUEERSPACE Collective<\/a>\u00a0(MN Ciudades Gemelas Local), y\u00a0Family Tree Clinic\u00a0<\/a>(Cuidado de la salud LGBTQ+). No hay una forma \u00fanica de que se vea el Orgullo, no hay una forma \u00fanica de celebrar la resiliencia y la alegr\u00eda de la comunidad queer, el Pride es cualquier forma en que te sientas seguro, poderoso, alegre y orgulloso de tu propia identidad.<\/b><\/p>

En celebraci\u00f3n del mes del orgullo LGBT+, le invitamos a unirse con nosotros el 29 de junio a las 4 pm mientras caminamos a trav\u00e9s de los colores del arco\u00edris en nuestra sesi\u00f3n de Facebook en vivo \u201cSalir del closet y la familia<\/a>\u201d,<\/strong> donde hablaremos sobre temas educativos LGBT+ para la familia.<\/p>
