El pasado jueves 3 de octubreer<\/sup>\u00a0m\u00e1s de 450 l\u00edderes de la comunidad se reunieron en el Minneapolis Events Center para conmemorar el Mes de la Herencia Hispana. La Vicegobernadora Peggy Flanagan se uni\u00f3 a los asistentes<\/b>dio una calurosa bienvenida y se uni\u00f3 a la celebraci\u00f3n de las muchas contribuciones de los latinos en todo Minnesota. Expres\u00f3 su apoyo continuo para fortalecer el bienestar de las comunidades latinas de Minnesota para que juntos podamos construir un futuro mejor y m\u00e1s fuerte para todos los minnesotanos.<\/p>

\u00abEsta noche, celebramos en comunidad y queremos elevar nuestras diversas culturas y patrimonio\u00bb, dijo Ruby Azurdia-Lee, Presidente y CEO de CLUES. \u00abDebemos celebrar nuestra propia comunidad y los logros de CLUES. Las Cl\u00ednicas CLUES Abriendo Caminos fueron certificadas como Cl\u00ednica Comunitaria de Salud Mental (CCBHC) en Minnesota este a\u00f1o.\u00a0<\/b>Esta certificaci\u00f3n es un hito para CLUES en todo el pa\u00eds, ya que somos una de las tres \u00fanicas cl\u00ednicas culturalmente centradas en atender a los latinos. Pr\u00f3ximo Mayo 2025, CLUES abrir\u00e1 un nuevo centro piloto de atenci\u00f3n a la infancia y bienestar familiar en la zona este de Saint Paul. <\/b>Este proyecto piloto es una soluci\u00f3n innovadora a las barreras culturales y ling\u00fc\u00edsticas a las que se enfrentan los padres latinos y los proveedores de servicios de guarder\u00eda a la hora de acceder a estos servicios, as\u00ed como a la creaci\u00f3n de prosperidad econ\u00f3mica para los proveedores\u00bb, declar\u00f3 Azurdia-Lee, entre otros logros.<\/p>

La velada se complet\u00f3 con actuaciones culturales, como la del grupo venezolano Baila Venezuela y la de la cantante de tango Caro Bernardini.<\/p>

Los fondos recaudados en la Gala Latina de este a\u00f1o se destinar\u00e1n a la compra de alimentos saludables y culturales que se distribuyen semanalmente a trav\u00e9s del programa de distribuci\u00f3n de comida, CLUES Canasta Familiar.<\/b> CLUES Canasta Familiar atiende a m\u00e1s de 600 familias semanalmente y distribuye m\u00e1s de 28.000 libras de alimentos saludables en sus instalaciones de Saint Paul y Minneapolis Lake Street. \u00abCanasta Familiar es un servicio transformador, ya que nos ayuda a abordar la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria hol\u00edstica y la promoci\u00f3n de la salud junto con el desarrollo comunitario. Nos ayuda a conectar a la comunidad con recursos hol\u00edsticos al tiempo que integra un sentido de pertenencia y de creaci\u00f3n de redes comunitarias\u00bb, ha afirmado Azurdia-Lee. \u00abLa inversi\u00f3n de hoy en Canasta Familiar apoya los ingresos familiares y las estrategias de desarrollo del barrio, y nos ayuda a seguir construyendo un tejido social fuerte para nuestros barrios y las comunidades latinas de Minnesota\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>
