SOBRE LA EXHIBICI\u00d3N<\/h4>\n

Fictitious es una colecci\u00f3n de fotograf\u00edas en las que personas latinas transmiten mensajes que sugieren temas pol\u00edticos, hist\u00f3ricos y de justicia social. Los personajes forman parte de un mundo ficticio donde las personas son retratadas como manifestaciones heroicas de la cultura latina. Im\u00e1genes de puentes, canoas, vaqueros y astronautas nos permiten imaginar lo inesperado, invitando a conversaciones sobre los retos y el empoderamiento de la comunidad latina.<\/span><\/p>\n

ARTISTA: XAVIER TAVERA<\/h4>\n

El trabajo de Tavera ha sido expuesto en\u00a0Minneapolis Institute of Art<\/a>, en el\u00a0Soap Factory<\/a>, la Galer\u00eda Eide\/Dalrymple en\u00a0Augustana University<\/a>, en la Staniar Gallery at Washington y Lee University, en el\u00a0Athens Institute for Contemporary Art<\/a>\u00a0en Georgia, el\u00a0Center for the Study of Political Graphics<\/a>\u00a0en Los \u00c1ngeles, la Galer\u00eda del Hospital Maciel en Montevideo, Uruguay, y en ProjekTraum FN en l'atelier Glidden Wozniak en Friedrichshafen, Alemania.
