Hazzen Muñoz is the 3M’s Consumer Business Group HR Business Lead.  Hazzen has extensive experience in architecting and executing integrated people strategies that drive performance, strengthen culture, and support sustainable business growth. His background reflects a strong commitment to developing talent, elevating employee experience, and aligning organizational capabilities with strategic objectives

Hazzen previously worked at Ecolab for 19 years, where he served as Vice President of Human Resources and Training for the Global Pest Elimination business. In this role, he guided people strategy for a global organization of more than 7,100 employees, leading initiatives in talent management, succession planning, leadership development, acquisitions, and DE&I. His earlier roles included leading global contingent workforce strategy, overseeing employee relations and compliance, and supporting multiple business units through organizational development and HR leadership.

A data-driven and agile leader, Hazzen is known for strong collaboration and partnership with executives and teams of diverse perspectives to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.  Hazzen resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Amanda, and 2 kids, Marco and Liliana.
