CLUES recently appointed Santiago De Angulo as its new COO. In this role, Santiago will work with CLUES’ President and the Executive Leadership Team to innovate, manage the implementation of business goals, and strengthen the current infrastructure and operations for the organization. “We are very excited to welcome Santiago,” said Ruby Lee, CLUES President, and CEO. “Coming out of the pandemic, Santiago’s role will be instrumental in getting us back on track with internal development goals, including growth and innovation, strengthening systems and capacity, and aligning services with financial sustainability”, said Lee.

Santiago is originally from Bogota, Colombia. He comes to CLUES with over 20 years of experience in executive leadership roles in organizational management and operations, housing, and customer service. Santiago’s education and training include an M.A. in Intercultural Communications, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Violin Performance from Towson University. Santiago and his wife Carolina moved to Minnesota in 2019.

Prior to joining CLUES, Santiago served as Executive Vice President overseeing Property Operations for Aeon, a nonprofit developer. Before moving to Minnesota, Santiago was the Executive Vice President and Director of Regulatory Compliance for Eagle Point Management in the Washington, D.C. area with a focus on affordable housing and resident services for low-income communities.
