Alejandra works as an outpatient Chemical Health Counselor & Assessor at CLUES. She graduated from Metropolitan State University with a bachelor's degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling (2023). Alejandra specializes in helping individuals who are struggling with substance use disorders in outpatient treatment programs. Alejandra has experience working with the male population who have re-entered society post-incarceration, she has experience working with the African American community and the Latino community as well.

Alejandra utilizes different approaches and evidenced practices with her clients. The approaches she utilizes the most include Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-informed care, Solution-focused therapy, and Radical Acceptance. She specializes in individual and group therapy sessions, her group therapy experience includes Seeking Safety, Relapse Prevention, and Moral Reconation Therapy.

Alejandra is passionate about helping and giving back to her Latino community and likes to educate and encourage her clients towards a happier and healthier lifestyle.
