Jesus has more than 10 years of experience working with underprivileged and socially marginalized youth and their families in urban communities. In the various roles that he has taken, Jesus has always strived to be a positive role model for youth by encouraging them to make informed decisions and by setting a standard of excellence through hard work and dedication. Jesus is particularly interested in working with Latino families using his interpersonal process skills to modify strained family systems that stem from intergenerational conflict between various members of the family. Jesus also utilizes Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy to help youth and their families process and resolve past negative experiences.
