Kelia received her Associate of Science in Medical Assisting and completed Customized Medical Coding Training at Century College. She possesses a genuine passion for delivering compassionate patient care and helping people from diverse backgrounds. Kelia brings a wealth of expertise to CLUES. She worked as a Quality Control Inspector for a medical concepts’ development center, ensuring the equipment was to standard before approving the shipping to medical laboratories. As a Medical Assistant, she provided quality patient and family-centered care to culturally diverse populations. She was also responsible for performing various high-level functions within a medical care team setting and providing direct patient care, such as health promotion and education.

As the Behavioral Health Billing Specialist, Kelia works with third-party billing and the Behavioral Health Compliance team to accurately complete payments, identify and recommend the process to improve efficiency in billing, and update billing workflows. Her passion and commitment to serving the Latino community led her to CLUES, where she feels at home and enjoys helping clients find and customize solutions that best fit their needs.
