Lizeth recently graduated from the College of Saint Benedict and St. John’s University in St. Joseph, MN (Class of 2023) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a double Minor in Gender Studies and Latin American Studies. During her time as an undergrad, she was able to intern at CLUES with the Behavioral Health team where Lizeth was able to work on assigned tasks and she also worked with other interns in developing a project to increase visibility on noise pollution and mental health awareness for the Latinx community. Lizeth worked at the Institute of Women’s Leadership for two years where she continuously advocated for underrepresented communities by developing campaigns and events that would encourage conversations on gender & social justice-related issues. Lizeth is passionate about mental health awareness and ending the stigma of mental health. She looks forward to continuing her advocacy work as a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager at CLUES and is excited to serve the Latinx community of Minnesota.
