Marah is a primary care trained Physician Assistant interested in addiction medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish from Berea College in Kentucky and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Elon University in North Carolina. Marah has extensive experience working in community health centers and safety net hospitals, focusing on primary care and addiction medicine. She is a full-time adjunct in the Augsburg University Master of Physician Assistant Studies program.  Marah is committed to providing high-quality, trauma informed, patient centered care. She is especially interested in working in health systems to reduce health inequities and improve access to care in marginalized communities. She has focused much of her career working alongside the Latine community.

In her free time, Marah enjoys spending time with her dog, cats, and chickens, hiking and exploring new state and national parks, kayaking, spending time with loved ones, and reading a good book!
