We were lucky enough that Bella, Bridget, and Hadley chose CLUES as their non-profit of choice. They write, "We chose to work with CLUES because of the tremendous support they provide as well as our personal connection to their organization. Our group member Bella Petschen has an involvement with this organization, as her father is a chairperson on their Board of Directors. Because Bella is half Latina and half Caucasian, she has had to seek out her own relationship with the Latino Community. CLUES has provided her and her family an environment in which they can connect to their roots and contribute to the lives of other Latinos."

The funds they raised went directly to CLUES Saving Circles Fund. This fund was able to provide $2 for every $1 saved by Latinos in the community who had been affected by Covid-19. A generous individual donor matched every gift received on Give to the Max Day dollar-for-dollar, so their contribution was extremely valuable. We want to express our gratitude to these students who sav the value in supporting the Latinx community and an initiative that encouraged Latinos in the community to open up a small business or embark on other entrepreneurial projects. Starting out with an initial fundraising goal of $1,500, they were able to surpass their goal and donate $1,750. Bella, Bridget, and Hadley are a few of the many people who help us to ensure the advancement of social and economic equity and wellbeing for Latinos in Minnesota and we are so excited to see these generous and caring students move on to their next adventure. ¡Nuestras felicitaciones!
