As CLUES celebrates its 45th anniversary, we are proud to welcome four new members to our Board of Directors and announce a new Board Executive Committee.

Joining the CLUES Board are:

• Gema Alvarado-Guerrero, Learning & Talent Development Manager at Hormel Foods, bringing experience in workforce development, education, nonprofit leadership, and social services.
• Cristóbal Cevallos, Senior Marketing Manager at Ecolab, bringing global expertise in marketing, innovation, business strategy, and inclusive leadership.
• Andrea C. Mejía Narváez, attorney at Sapientia Law Group, bringing legal expertise, a bicultural and bilingual perspective, and a strong commitment to advocacy and community service.
• Dr. Phillip Rivera, Biology Professor at Macalester College, bringing experience across science, education, health, mentorship, and inclusive learning.

Michael Scrafford — Secretary

The Executive Committee brings extensive leadership experience across business operations, organizational transformation, finance, strategy, and community engagement.

Honoring Hazzen Muñoz’s Leadership

As we welcome this new chapter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hazzen Muñoz, outgoing Board Chairperson, for his leadership, dedication, and service to CLUES and our community.

For 45 years, CLUES has grown alongside Minnesota’s Latino community. We are grateful to the leaders who have helped shape our journey and excited to work with our new and continuing Board members as we build the next chapter together.
