Time For Change! - A message from CLUES

This is the Time!
Change for Black and Brown people’s justice and police accountability is long overdue. Today’s guilty verdict by the jury seeking vindication for George Floyd and his family, and community outcries for police reform have finally found justice.
 
Today’s verdict and the peaceful marches for justice have sparked the momentum needed for the transformation of police practices and needed accountability.
This is the moment to continue seeking justice for Daunte Wright, Adam Toledo, Anthony Alvarez, Breonna Taylor, and many others.
 
This is the time to change awareness for action and change structural racism. This is the time to reform police practices that result in the deaths of our neighbors and children at the hands of law enforcement. This is the time to remove old practices and reform power and repressive policies.
 
All of us at CLUES stand alongside the community and raise our voices to demand an end to these unjust systems and condemn racism in all forms. We pledge to double down our efforts to continue seeking equity, demand accountability in law enforcement and seek systemic and transformational change.
