Graduation is a special time of year at CLUES. It’s a time to reflect, to celebrate and to look forward to all that the future holds. Many of our youth participants are graduating from their high schools, colleges, and universities, and we are so proud to watch each of them go on to serve to the community long after they have left us. Wherever they go, they will always be part of the CLUES family.
Each CLUES student has a unique story to tell about the journey that brought them to graduation day. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing several stories of students from all walks of life. There are those who have overcome profound hardships, those who are first-generation college graduates and those who have an established family history at CLUES. We celebrate the success of all our graduates and encourage you to read their stories as a way to inspire your own educational journey!
Gabino graduated from Twin Cities Academy. He has been an active member of Youth in Action program (YA!) all four years of high school and has grown tremendously as a leader in the program. He entered the YA! program being fairly shy but eager to grow in his leadership skills. Gabino has been a role model for students within our program and been a tangible example of what a leader can look like. At school, Gabino served as president and has used his voice and leadership to create positive change in the school. He will begin at Hamline University this fall. Congratulations Gabino for your hard work and wishing you many more successes!
Please, watch his video below and discover more details about his journey to success and visit CLUES YA! website for more information!
