Fernanda was born and raised in El Salvador. She graduated from St. Olaf College in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology/Anthropology, with a concentration in Management Studies. As an undergraduate, Fernanda worked at St. Olaf’s Wellness Center as a peer educator and substance coach, where she focused on promoting health education and supporting the well-being of the campus community. She also interned in Barcelona, Spain, as a case manager with a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting immigrants, vulnerable individuals, and the long-term unemployed as part of a sociolaboral insertion team.
At CLUES, Fernanda will primarily serve Ramsey County as an adult mental health targeted case manager. Her academic background, along with her professional and personal experiences, has prepared her to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and to provide culturally responsive care. She is committed to fostering inclusive and supportive environments for those she serves. She is excited to contribute to the Latinx community in Minnesota.
Outside of work, she enjoys going on walks and hikes, playing sand volleyball and basketball with friends, exploring local coffee shops, and reading!
