CLUES was recognized as Provider of the Year at NAMI's annual conference on Saturday, November 4^th in St. Paul.  This award recognizes an organization that provides mental health services that demonstrate excellence, respect, and best practices. 

CLUES is providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment and services in St Paul, Minneapolis, Willmar, and Austin through our Behavioral Health clinics, Abriendo Caminos. We provide culturally specific mental health services to the community in English and Spanish and have recently begun work to become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). NAMI Minnesota highlighted that what really stands out about CLUES is our approach – which really addresses the social determinants of health – looking at employment, food, and housing, promoting culture, and helping people find their voices. CLUES welcomes all community members and importantly honors indigenous wisdom about wellness because we know that "la cultura cura - culture heals".

CLUES is grateful for this recognition that highlights the important work that we are doing in Minnesota. Our colleagues, Liz Franklin, Associate Director of Behavioral Health services, and Mica Cavuoto, Manager of Outpatient Mental Health and CTSS Services, were present to accept the award.
